After years of Facetime dating, and pandemic isolation, Jewish singles are ready for low barrier, face-to-face interactions and real-life people instead of profiles. However, the COVID-19 pandemic has changed the dating landscape once again. Obviously, being able to swipe through potential matches from the comfort of your home makes any Jewish single reconsider attending in-person events. In the last decade, the rise of dating apps such as Tinder, Bumble, and Hinge, in tandem with the decline of JDate and JSwipe, has caused a decline in speed dating events and a gap in the Jewish dating space.
